Has anyone recieved their 2012 direct deposit tax refund yet? ?
My dd was suppose to be 1/25/2012 still no money as of yet this morning my friend filed a week after me and the IRS website says she will recieve hers Monday mine still says you should recieve it by 1/31/2012 it's been recieved and stll processing!

No one seems to understand the date that where's my refund gives. OK if where's my refund says you should receive refund by 2/7. That date inculdes 3 to 5 business days for the bank to post your direct deposit. The actual direct deposit date is 2/1 for your refund. Plus right from the IRS they said tax returns accepted from 1/24 and before would be delayed 1 week. The 24th was when the IRS had their system issues. They also said any tax returns accepted from the 1/25 would be processed without delay. I filled my return on 1/17 and it was accepted on 1/17. On the 20th it said I would have my refund by 1/31. Then on the 26th the WMR said I'd have my refund by 2/7 cause of processing delays. Today it still says I should have it by 2/7 and not to contact the IRS till 2/7 if I don't have it.
So I should have my refund direct deposit on 2/1 without a post delay. I have had my refund direct deposted to a Netspend prepaid credit card for going on 4 years now. And all 3 redund direct deposit where posted to my card the same day it was transfered by the IRS. So for any who has a WMR date of 1/31 and 2/1 should see their direct deposit by 2/1. Some People are saying the got thier DD yesturday. I saw a few posts today with saying they got theirs today. The Irs might of stated transfering DD on the 26th. And the deposits will happened in the order the returns finshed processing.

Wmr as of Wed 1/25/2012 told me DD on Feb 1. Just checked wmr and now its says receive by Feb. 7. So from reading all other statements and from what I gathered, no one knows. Not even the IRS. They are releasing funds however they feel. And its not on a first filed, first received basis. It depends on each individual tax situation.... Jane and Julie filed their taxes a day apart. Julie filed 1st and was accepted 1st. Jane filed a 1040ez form with 2 dependents and her w2 info and Julie filed a 1040ez form with 3 dependents and w2 info along with self employment and education credits. Well Jane would receive hers 1st because hers has less processing. While Julie would probably wait a few more days to receive her refund.

I just wanted to say...for the few people that were saying they filed BEFORE Jan 17th..you may have filed, but IRS WAS NOT accepting taxes until Jan 17th..and yours HAD to be accepted by the IRS by the 18th for you to get the 25th DD date. Just because you filed before the 18th doesn't mean the accepted it...your taxes got put in with everyone else and I'm sure that was thousands of other people.
IRS is not just sending out DD on Friday this year..if you look at their Refund Cycle chart all the DD are on Wed...I was told this year they are DD M-F
Mine was ACCEPTED by the IRS on the 17th...but as of yesterday the 27th, I still hadn't got mine...called my CPA and was told that IRS sent out a letter to them on the 26th that there was a glitch in their system and they were going to be a week behind on their DD. So, looks like lots of people that were going to get theirs on the 25th will get theirs on Wed the 1st..and the people that were supposed to get theirs on Wed the 1st will get theirs the following week.

Going by what I know the irs works on tax filings full time during tax season.. As the tax returns get processed the info goes into a holding que and the computer batches out (direct deposit) several times a day everyday. Probably at least once an hour everyday.. The dates they give you are just a guestimate, because they don't know when your number is going to come up.. To pay out once a week would be overwhelming to the system.. 'I would think' So just keep checking and it could be anytime..

I was given a date of the 25th then the 27th and then the 31st so I called this morning and was told my dd was scheduled to be deposited on the first so I am hoping for that! I filed on the 9th and was accepted on the 17th at 830am! This has happened to us every year! The IRS does what they want and on their own time with no regard to people who can't afford to wait for them to get off their thumbs!!!! I am so frustrated every year with our returns!!! I am really hoping that it gets deposited when they say!

I called this morning and was actually the first caller for the IRS rep. She was very nice and helpful. We were on for 45 minutes, but she did her research. She said the WMR is wrong. She said that if it is stating you are still processing until Jan. 31st, you will have your money by Feb. 3rd. She actually looked up my information and told me I was in the batch that was delayed. Which is if your company sent it over before the 11th. She stated the system is backed up, but only delayed by a week. So if you still have the processing of Jan. 31st, you will get yours next week. She said the system isn't always updating correctly either.

I have not received mine yet, It was accepted early on the 18th, On the chart it says it is scheduled to be DD on the 25th but still no money. Im in the same situation. This is driving me crazy not knowing whether or not its coming and when! I had an accepted date of 01/14/12 and so I should have had via the chart on Jan 25th, The site still says processing and I should have by Jan 31st.

I just got off the phone,same boat 1/31 since accepted on 1/18.WMR has said processing since then. The agent just informed that even though wmr says processing I have a DD of 2/1 for sure as do most people stuck at 1/31 with no change. Hope this helps.

Nope... mine was accepted on the 17th. At first it had a January 31 date but as of Wed. WMR has stated, your refund is processing and if everything is correct you will receive it within six weeks. Anyone else had their message change to this? Any info...

Nope, i have been checking all week long. I never had problems like this either. I think my online banking site probably wondering why is she logging in so much and all day long. I file as well on the 17 then i look on the site and it say the 31st as well. No one knows where our money at.

Yes, I got it this morning. I had originally had a date given of the 25th ( but tax act), then the processing and receive by the 31st message. The WMR updated yesterday saying it would be deposited on the 30th.

WMR finally updated today to show that my direct deposit is scheduled for 1/31. I was stuck at the processing screen since I filed on 1/17. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will actually be there on the 31st.

I'm still in the 1/31 group myself. Let's all be thankful that we didn't get pushed back to 2/21 and flagged like other people did! I do have confidence that we all will get our returns it is just gonna take a minute!! I don't know about anyone else but I need to learn some patients!! LOL

Ive had the processing with the should get it by feb 7th date since the 19th and i filed on the 18th through h r block. I really hope i get it by the 1st i need my rent money. ughhh so sick of checking all day lol

Thanks Kristina! That is very helpful information. Mine still stays processing and give the Jan 31st day as of this moring. So Frustrating. Glad to know that it may at least be there by Feb 3rd. Makes me feel a little bit better.

I also had the get it before 1/31 since 1/18 I called this morning and she said its finally finished processing and my DD was scheduled for 2/1 so hopefully I receive it this time

Got my taxes done by HrB on 1/17. Refund was supposed to be deposited on the emerald card 1/25. Nothing! WMR says 2/7. Never had a problem like this before, ever. Frustrated for sure!

i filed on jan 17th and the hotline/website say i should get mine by jan 31.its friday afternoon now and still no direct deposit :( ugh so that means i will get it next friday hopefully ??:-/

Mine was dd this morning to republic bank but has not made it to my account yet hopefully soon !! my dd date thru the irs said dd of 1/30/12. Good luck to everyone with that dd date!!

I received mine yesterday at 8:01 PM. It was deposited on my Emerald card. I filed on the 18th and was accepted that day if this helps.
