Does anyone else still have a date of 1/31/2012 for their IRS tax refund Direct Deposit?
I know lots of questions and concerns are floating around out there. I've been reading a lot of forums, and here goes my first attempt at getting some answers. My IRS income tax refund was scheduled to be direct deposited 1/25/2012. Of course, like many others out there, I didn't get mine due to the issues the IRS is having. My main question is this - is anyone out there still getting the message on the WMR site that there refund is still processing and should be received by 1/31/2012? I figured I will at least see some update by now. I know that some people are getting their actual direct deposit dates now. I hate to call the IRS and bug them, so I figured I would just see what answers I can get here! Thanks so much!

WMR kept telling me at first the 31st of Jan. until like Thursday it kept saying that it does not have any of my information. So then I woke up this morning and now wmr is saying that my refund will be dd on Feb. 1st. I spoke to the irs on Wednesday he said that refunds are being deposited and day of the week and the wmr doesn't get updated every Saturday.

Talked with the irs today, my wmr status was still saying We have received your return and is still being processed..etc... wil be deposited by January 31, I was told it would be deposited 2/3/12. She said the wmr systems update on the weekend, and she also said that it depends on what form you filed 1040A, 1040ez etc that decides what day the money is deposited, 1040ez filers can be on anyday of the week where as 1040A filers are on fridays.

Just because the refund cycle chart said you could have a refund by 1/25/2012 that does not mean it was ever scheduled... You never got a actual DD scheduled on that day. Very few did. If you status still says 1/31 you will more the likely have it by next friday if your lucky and have no problems with your return.
My refund status is still stuck at 1/31. At this point I have no idea when I will get my refund, I just know its not going to be this week like the refund cycle chart estimated.

Originally I got a message saying my return was being processed and would be direct deposited on 1/31. It was updated today saying it is scheduled to be directed deposited on 1/31. It no longer says it is being processed. I figured since today is Friday I would have it but still not there so I'm guessing I'll have to wait until the 31st.

I also called this morning and was told by the agent my refund will be deposited on 02/01. My WMR still says processing and will be by 01/31/2012 but he said that should be updated by tomorrow. He said that anyone that still has the 01/31/2012 date and it says processing should get their refunds by 02/03.

I called this morning and on WMR it still says it is still processing and if they are no delays you should get it by 1/31. The agent this morning said mine is scheduled to be DD on 2/1. They were overloaded with returns and are reviewing more returns this year and mine went to be reviewed but got out quickly

Mine went from should receive by 31st, to we are sorry no record, and now back to receive by 31st. Called IRS today and the lady said that I will get mine on the 1st, I told her that the WMR says 31st and she told me no it don't, that like telling me that I lied. Looking at WMR it still says by the 31st.

My WMR date still says BY February 7th. It has never changed. I just called the IRS to see where I stand and the guy was RUDE. And he said my return was completely processed, nothing is wrong and I am scheduled for a DD on Feb 10th. Their website never updated my status at all. Is anyone getting theirs early?

I called the IRS about mine this morning.... the IRS website says I should see my refund by the 31st, it was accepted by the IRS on the 17th... What they told me today was there was a unexpected glitch in the system and its not updating properly, my refund is scheduled to be deposited on the 1st... more waiting!

Yes, I am in the same group. And the website says January 31, 2012. For awhile they updated it with not being able to give me ANY information, then it changed, so they must be consistently processing and changing the updates.

I just recieved an email from H&R stating the irs is having processing problems ( which we already knew) so of course I go on WMR and finally my status has changed now no more being process n having a a date of 1/31/2012. It says now DD on Feb. 1st. So hopefully everyone is getting this good news now.

mine has said the same thing now for almost 2 weeks. files ours on the 12th accepted on the 18th and then given a date of the 25th. now when you go on there it still says processing should get it by the 31st.. i just got my state yesterday.. but still no federal on my emeral card

I just got off the phone with IRS and they said that WMR is not updating correctly. My WMR says processing, January 31 on it but the rep said its through processing, and it is scheduled for DD on Wed, 2/01.

I don't have an answer, but i was given a date of 1/31/2012 to receive my refund. Now the "where's my refund" show they don't have any information about my refund. Does anyone have an explanation for this action?

my federal was accepted on the 18th and when i went to the wmr it said processing. should recieve by the 31st but now when i go to wmr. It can't find my information. does anyone have any idea what this could mean?/

My original date was the 25th and it changed to the 31st and been that way for the last week. Hopefully this is the correct DDD and I will see my refund by Tuesday.

I'm still seeing 1/31/12 on wmr but spite to a very nice irs rep today and he looked up my account and said direct deposit for 2/1 .from what I'm hearing the wmr site is super slow to update.

thats exactly what wmr is telling me. so i have no idea what is going on!! i still dont have a dd date it jus keeps saying processing i should receive it by 1/31/2012 this is some bs.....

Mine has said expect your refund by the 31st, I checked it this morning it changed to your refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on 31st...so I hope that means I will have it Tuesday!!! Keep checking...

If they tell you 1/31, then more that likely you'll get it in the 1st week of February due to the delays the IRS are having....

IRS Rep told me the 1st will be my DD date. My wmr is still the 31st so don't panic. I am relieved that I got a straight answer.

Some have called and got a dd date. I am just going to wait and see. Hope we do get them next week.

Call them - 800-829-1040. It sucks to sit on hold but that is the only way I was able to get an answer. I had to call twice because the first lady was useless and just read me the WMR status. My WMR status still says BY 1/31 but the second IRS agent said that it was scheduled to be DD on 2/1/11 and that WMR is just not updated at this point. She assured me her information was accurate. I have seen so many rumors/outright lies and everything else on these forums so I suggest just calling yourself. Good Luck!

I wish they would pay interest to all of those that didn't get paid on time, sure enough the minute ur late paying them they back up by 2 min and start ur interest for owning them...

I file for the free edition from Turbo tax on Jan. 5 Im told that the dates of acceptance from last year a diff this year. I also learn nothing is free. did my taxes on the 16th was also supposed to receive it on the 25th the WMR says i should receive it by feb 7th but when i called the IRS they said jan 31st also called again another rep told me feb 1st so i am as lost as most of you are i already received my state but they took half of it to charge the tax prep fees which is ridiculous since i didnt get my federal yet..quick to charge me but not quick to pay me whats owed to me i hope we all get our money AS SOON AS POSSIBLE good luck everyone !!
