I grew up in the late 50's and 60's so our word was "Bitchin" and our parents hated the word.

"Far out, man" was the words in the late sixties. "Bitchin" didn't travel up our way until the 80s.

I grew up then too but never used that ... parents would have killed us. Ours was cooooool & far out!
